My name is Lisa, I am a Licensed Master Social Worker. I graduated from Boise State University in May of 2020 with my master’s degree. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in general studies/social sciences from Lewis Clark State College May of 2017. During my undergrad a professor saw my potential working within the social work field and encouraged me to apply to the MSW program at Boise State University and the rest was history. I am passionate about using my degree in social work with my education in nursing to provide a holistic approach to mental health. I have experience working with individuals with anxiety, depression, borderline personality disorder, and PTSD. I have experience using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness practice.
In my free time I like to spend time with my family and my three dogs. Hobbies include camping, hiking and kayaking, in the winter you can find me going to theatre events and concerts.
